HGV1 Radio is the UK’s leading radio station for the haulage industry – the home for truck drivers, transport professionals and everyone who keeps the country moving.

Launched in March 2024 and supported by Truckfest, HGV1 was created with one clear purpose: to give the road transport community its own station, built around life on the road. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, we deliver the music, information and industry content drivers need to stay informed, entertained and connected wherever the job takes them.
At HGV1, it’s all about the people behind the wheel. We bring the stories of the road to life, talking directly to drivers from the cab, sharing real experiences and giving a voice to the industry. Our presenters come from both the worlds of radio and haulage, creating a genuine connection with the audience and the realities of the job.
